IBISBA•GR envisions a national landscape where Industrial Biotechnology drives the circular bioeconomy transition. Industrial biotechnology involves the microbial production of enzymes, specialized proteins as well as whole cells, which act in nature as super-performing biocatalysts that facilitate and speed-up complex biochemical reactions.
