IBISBA-GR will have a strong presence at the SuSChemE-SUSTENS2 Conference, taking place 28–30 June 2026 at the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens, Greece. On 28 June, IBISBA-GR will host a dedicated workshop and welcome visitors at its exhibition stand.
Workshop: “Data Fabric of Twinning Services for Industrial Biotechnology” (Sunday, 28 June, 12:30 EEST)
Co-organised by Athena Research Center and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with the support of IBISBA, the workshop presents an integrated computational environment designed to bridge bioprocess data infrastructures with containerised modelling workflows. It will demonstrate how FAIR-aligned data management, metadata harmonisation, and workflow orchestration technologies can be combined into a unified digital ecosystem for industrial biotechnology applications — supporting use cases such as kinetic parameter optimisation, closed-loop generative strain design, and process control. The workshop is facilitated by Georgios K. Georgakilas and Theodore Dalamagas (Athena Research Center), and Stefanos Xenios, Konstantinos Mexis, and Antonis Kokossis (NTUA).
