Bioprocess Development & Optimisation

Techno-economic Assessment & Value Chain Analysis

  • Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) that use cost models (CAPEX and OPEX) to assess capital investment as a function of industrial scale and capacity
  • LCA includes post and ex-ante LCA technology using commercial software (SimaPro, Umberto, CCalC) for mid-point impact, end-point damage, and total score metrics for cradle-to-grave analysis
  • Value chain analysis uses concept-based technology (Total Site Analysis, SCO) to integrate bioprocessing paths and supply chain analysis

Data Management, Data Science, Data Infrastructures
